Section 2 | Trooper Etiquette
2.1 Communication Etiquette: While on duty Troopers are expected to use the in-game radio, as well as discord voice chats (If possible.) to communicate with other Troopers whilst on duty. Misuse of these radios may result in administrative action. Troopers are only permitted to communicate through the radio with other Troopers for law enforcement related things. Unprofessionalism within the radio may result in administrative action, grammar is necessary. While communicating on duty through the radio, we urge you to use the law enforcement 10-codes. Additionally when communicating with other Troopers please state your callsign, not your username. For example if someone asks for your status you would relay their callsign then yours. E.g [Their callsign], [Your callsign] [Rest of message] or [Your callsign] 10-8 etc.
2.2 Community Etiquette: While on duty Troopers may find themselves in situations with the general public, in high intense situations Troopers are still expected to maintain a calm and composed attitude at all times. In addition when a member of the general public asks for your badge number or callsign you are to provide them with the information and then continue with the encounter. If a player ever asks to provide a supervisor please check if any are on duty, if not please check if any other law enforcement supervisors are on duty via the in-game radio. If no response please redirect them to the department server and to open a support ticket. The same goes for when they wish to report you for anything.
2.3 Department Etiquette: Troopers of the department must obey troopers of higher rank within the department, while on a traffic stop or scene in-game you may command un-whitelisted law enforcement officers as fit. Abusing this ability will result in administrative action, additionally if you are in the situation of determine who has scene control with other whitelisted department members apply who's a higher rank within their individual departments. If it's a high intensity situation such as a hostage scene, SWAT members should seek scene command.
2.4 Miranda Rights: Troopers are expected to read the miranda rights when detaining or arresting a suspect. Miranda rights are required prior to interrogating or questioning a suspect.
